Exchanges and Returns
We appreciate satisfied clients. The Breast Form Store does its best to offer accurate information on our website and assist with fitting tips via phone calls and e-mail.
We are clear regarding the exchange and returns policies on all items. Contact us with any concerns you have regarding your purchase. We always make sure the product you receive is right for your needs.
Make sure to be in touch within 48 hours of package delivery so we can authorize a proper exchange or return.
Helpful advice regarding breast forms
Never attach the breast forms to your torso until you are sure they are the ones you love! Attach your breast forms only when you’re sure of their fit. Once attached to your body in any way, breast forms can’t be exchanged or exchanged.
How to file for a return or an exchange
If the fit isn’t to your liking, let us know within 48 hours of receiving the product so that we can authorize an exchange or return.
When you file for an exchange or return, we will provide you with a Return Authorization number that must be visible on the package. We will provide you with our return address.
Orders not following the instructions can be delayed in processing or denied upon arrival.
Return postage and insurance (if needed), are the client’s responsibility unless the product was damaged in shipment or incorrectly shipped. We highly advise that all clients keep proof of a tracking number and insurance in case of a failed delivery.
When your parcel arrives at our facility, we will check to see if the product can be resold. Once this is confirmed, we will proceed with your return or exchange.
Return parcels must arrive back at our facility within 14 days of the issued RA number. Items not delivered back within 14 days with exceptions due to postal delay won’t be eligible for exchange or returns.
Fees for returns or exchanges
Exchanges are charged with a reshipping fee. Free shipping is eligible only once per order. This is needed to assist in covering our costs so we can keep offering stellar products at low prices.
- American and Canadian exchanges are charged a $15 re-shipping fee for ground service.
- International exchanges are charged for reshipping according to our flat rate shipping options.
Straight returns are charged the original shipping cost and a restocking fee.
- $20 restocking fee on orders of breast forms
- $15 restocking fee on all other products
Clients who paid to ship will have the price difference added or refunded as the shipping fee. All fees are subject to the appropriate tax.
Exchanges or returns of breast forms
Most breast forms exchange or return are honored if they meet certain conditions:
- Arrive in the original and undamaged packaging
- Have not been attached to the body under any circumstance.
- Are unused and in resalable condition
Self-adhering, foam, and custom-made breast forms are not available for exchange or return due to cleanliness requirements. Attachable forms like Gold Seal Classic 1 are acceptable for exchange and provided they were never attached to the body.
Final sale items
Certain products can’t be exchanged or returned. Their sale is final because of several reasons amongst which are sanitary policy, manufacture restrictions we must adhere to, or an item custom ordered. Our policies are aligned with those of most vendors.
Our policy of final sale items is here to ensure our client’s health and well-being. Make abundantly sure to select the right size and preferred color before you submit a product labeled as final sale.
Final sale items include:
- Self-adhering breast forms or breast forms that have been adhered to the body
- Foam breast forms
- Specially ordered breast forms
- Body adhesives
- Bras and camisoles
- Clearance and discontinued items
- Cosmetics and makeup
- Gift certificates
- Hosiery and nylons
- Lingerie, swimwear, and intimates
- Gaffs, padded panties, and undergarments
- Any item(s) used and not in resalable condition
Exceptions: Returns and exchanges are allowed if any items listed are damaged in transit or wrongly shipped. The client won’t incur any exchange or reshipping fees.
Undeliverable and ‘return to sender’ packages.
We will contact the client to authorize reshipment to a different address when packages are returned to us as undeliverable.
If the wrong address is at the fault of The Breast Form Store or the carrier, The Breast Form Store will be responsible for order reshipping the order if so the client prefers. If the mistake is made by the client, they are responsible for the re-shipping fee.
If the client opts to process the order as a return, they are responsible for all applicable restocking and original shipping fees. We have the authority to process the order as a return if we don’t receive communication from the client within 10 business days.
Lost, worn, missing, or damaged products
If you notice an item missing from the order upon delivery or if the shipping box or product is in any way damaged, please inform us immediately so we amend the situation. We cannot guarantee an item will be replaced or refunded unless we’re notified within 48 hours of delivery. This is because of restrictions placed on us by mail carriers.
Packages stolen or lost after delivery are the customer’s responsibility. Nonetheless, we always do our best to help untangle shipping claims provided proper documentation is available. Packages lost in transit are first investigated by the carrier. Once the claim is approved and processed by the carrier, the is refunded or re-shipped depending on customer request.
When an item is returned in non-resalable condition due to our sanitary and production values, the client will be charged a $15 cleaning fee. If the item cannot be cleaned, it will be returned to the client at their expense and voided of our exchange or return policies.
All items that go with an item purchased, like care kits, must be included when seeking a return or exchange. Otherwise, the client will be charged the retail price for the missing product(s).
Refunds are processed as soon as the order is delivered back to our facility and inspected for eligibility guidelines.
Some clients will quickly see their refunds though it can take up to 14 days to show on your credit card. These timelines are due to different credit policies and are out of our control.
The Buyer Remorse Policy
It can be difficult to order garments online especially if you’re unsure of your measurements. Rest assured that we designed our return and exchange policy to ensure the peace of mind you deserve.
If the item you ordered doesn’t fit and is unauthorized for return or exchange, we offer a 30% discount on a replacement of the item in a different size. This option is only possible once per client/garment ordered incorrectly and isn’t applicable to clearance sales or combo packs.
